The Best Bachelorette Party in Savannah

Let's be honest- What was the first thing that came to mind when your girl asked you to be her maid of honor? The bachelorette party. Half the battle of planning a bachelorette party is picking the location. The fact that you are reading this means you've heard about Savannah. Southern girls know how to party, so it's no wonder why bachelorette parties in Savannah are a hot choice. We have the best brunch spots, ghost tours, bar crawls, and food dives the low country has to offer. Did I mention our bars? Here are seven things to do for a bachelorette party in Savannah:

Savannah Slow Ride

  • Though I don't condone drinking and driving, I am all for drinking and pedaling with Savannah Slow Ride. Hop on a slow ride tour with experienced tour guides that will take your I Do Crew to the best pubs and bars Savannah has to offer and enjoy the historic downtown district. Savannah Slow Ride offers different routes from pub crawls, boos cruises, and a history tour. Make it fun by dressing up in costumes and creating a badass playlist for your girls and the rest of the people enjoying the Savannah nightlife on the street to hear and cheer you on!

Mint to Be Mojito

  • While you're out visiting different Savannah watering holes, make sure to stop into Mint To Be Mojito. Party rule number one, never drink on an empty stomach. Making a pitstop to grab some authentic Latin bites like empanadas and arepas, sip on tasty mojitos, and enjoy it all while vibing as if you are in a bar in the Caribbean is muy asombroso. Tip: Start your bach weekend on Thursday, come out to their Salsa Night, and dance the night away with a Mojito in hand!

Tybee Island

  • Beaches love beaches ( If you catch my drift). If you are looking for a day activity for your friends, 18 miles away from downtown Savannah is Tybee Island. Just like all beach towns, Tybee is a great place to take a dolphin tour, beach biking, kayaking, and any other water sports your group is willing to try. Not the adventurous group? No problem. Pack up your cooler and tents, hit the main beach for fun on a sunny day, or visit North beach if you want less hustle and bustle. Beaches are a staple for a bachelorette party in Savannah.

Georgia Tasting Room

  • Wine and Moonshine slushies. Must I say more? I don't believe any bachelorette party is complete without some wine tasting thrown in the mix. The wine selections at Georgia Tasting Room come from the best vineyards in Georgia and the surrounding Lowcountry. Artisan products with an artistic aesthetic add to the reason why this is a must. Make sure to try their Sangria and Peach slush!

City Market

  • If you are visiting Savannah, you are bound to end up here. City Market offers everything you are looking for in planning the best bachelorette weekend in Savannah. They have bars, live music, escape rooms, restaurants, and tattoo shops for the ladies trying to party the right way. Explore our local and artistic shops, dance to our local musicians, vibe with good people, and enjoy delicious food. My favorite places in Savannah's City Market are Bar Bar, Pour Larry's, Georgia Tasting Room, Vinnie Van Go Go's, and The Little Crowne By Pie Society. Make sure to visit A.E Hunt Art Gallery as well!

Broughton Street

  • Broughton Street is for the babes and beaux that love to shop. It's where historic infrastructure meets modern shops and stores that still embody Savannah's southern charm. You can grab some last-minute outfits from Big Box stores like H&M, Steve Madden, or Urban Outfitters. The real experience starts when you shop at local boutiques and restaurants like Amelia Island Soapery, Morgan Rae Boutique, The Paris Market, Flying Monk, Good Times Jazz & Bar, and more!

Riverstreet

  • I can't talk about Savannah and not mention Riverstreet. It is easy to see why it makes everyone's list from century-old architecture, historic cobblestone, and restaurants that delight. Located along the Savannah River, you will find unique rooftop bars, one-of-a-kind boutiques, brewpubs, and more. Our new Savannah Plant Riverside is a great spot to end one of your epic nights. They have live music, entertainment, art galleries, and the list goes on. It gives off a real upscale southern experience.

The things to do for a bachelorette party in Savannah are endless. If you made it this far, you are interested in making this your location; however, maybe you still need help planning. The team over at Stag and Hen can take the stress out of planning a fantastic Bachelorette weekend in Savannah. The key thing to remember is Bachelorette parties are meant to be fun and a time for celebration. There are maybe a few hiccups, but you can make the most out of anything with the right crew!

Additional Tips:

  • Stay close to downtown (less time ubering, more time drinking)
  • Create Oh Shxt Kits ( sanitizer, makeup wipes, barf bags, chapsticks, etc.)
  • Stick together (basic girl code)
  • Budget ahead of time (don't be broke, it kills the vibe for everyone)
  • Plan games and pregame at your Airbnb or hotel
  • Have fun!

10 Cheap Things To Do In Savannah

Here are my top 10 cheap things to do in Savannah. Visiting Savannah for the first time? Or are you a local just trying to learn and do more in your city, but on a budget? You came to the right place! 1. Visit Forsyth Forsyth Park is one of Savannah’s most photographed and well-known parks and it doesn’t disappoint. It's a great place to walk or picnic and take in the beautiful scenery that is Downtown Savannah. If you are feeling really bohemian, bring your hammock to wrap it around the trees and hang. I think all tourists should at least walk through this park and every "Savannahian" should make it a habit to go out there and relax on the lawn. I frequent there a lot. This is literally number one of the cheap things to do in Savannah because it's free ! 2. Take an art class (Cultural Arts Center) A new addition to the city that is really exploring the city's love for the arts. The Cultural Arts Center offers many different classes such

Savannah Black Artists That Impact

In honor of Black History Month, let's talk about Savannah Black Artists that impact. “Keep In mind I’m an artist so I’m sensitive about my shxt” - Erykah Badu  What is art? Well, that answer is subjective. To me, art is whatever you can create with your head and imagine with your soul. The next question is, what is an artist? That is subjective too. To me, artists tend to be the unsung heroes who have the courage to manifest their emotions into the physical. We all have a little artist in us, but there are some that just shine above the rest.  Here are some of my favorite Black artists in Savannah (In no particular order): 1. Nae'Keisha Jones Nae'Keisha Jones is an illustrator and writer from Colorado, based in Savannah, Ga. She graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design with a B.F.A in Illustration with a minor in Creative Writing.  Destiny: “ What role do you see yourself playing in the Savannah art scene?” Nae’Keisha: “ I want

8 Things I Wish I Knew Before Going To Paris

Paris. The city of love and trends. Definitely a one of kind experience and a very beautiful place to see. Here are just a couple of first time Paris things I wish I knew before going . 1.The hot chocolate is amazing! By far my favorite thing I had in Paris. I am a chocolate lover and would like to think I am a connoisseur. The richness of the chocolates is what sets it apart from the normal hot chocolate we have in America. 2.Disneyland Paris is nice, but… I think visiting different Disney's around the world is a bucket list within itself. It was actually on my roommates that's why we went. It wasn’t bad and I still had a great time, but there are not a lot of rides like they have in Florida and two of the biggest ones they had there were closed when we went. Bummer. Don’t let this deter you from going because I would still recommend anyone to go that loves Disney. It is great to hear how your favorite characters sound in French! 3.Do Not eat aroun
